Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses MyFutStats (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. Questions: myfutstats@gmail.com.

1. The service

• MyFutStats lets organisers record recreational football and futsal matches, and shows tables, statistics, awards and badges for each player.
• Players use MyFutStats free of charge. Leagues pay to keep recording after the free trial.
• You must be 16 or older to create an account.

2. Accounts and leagues

• You sign in with Google or an email link. Keep access to that account secure; actions taken from it are treated as yours.
• The person who creates a league is its owner and is responsible for it. Owners can invite admins and scorers.
• Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of the results they record and for having their players' agreement to list their names and photos.

3. Trial, plans and prices

• New leagues get a 30-day free trial with all features for up to 50 players. No payment details are needed.
• Paid plans are paid in advance: Monthly MVR 650 a month; 6-monthly MVR 3,000; annual MVR 6,000. Each includes 50 active players; extra players cost MVR 10 each per month. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• If a league pays during its trial, the paid period starts when the trial ends, but paid benefits start straight away.
• When a plan ends without renewal, the league becomes view-only: nothing is deleted, but new matches can't be recorded until it is renewed.
• Payment is currently by bank transfer. A plan starts once we have confirmed the payment.
• We may change prices for future periods. A period you have already paid for is never charged again.

4. Founding offer

• The first 20 leagues to take it may prepay 6, 12, 18 or 24 months at MVR 450 a month in their first payment.
• After the prepaid period, normal prices apply. The founding price can't be added to an existing paid plan.
• Founding leagues receive a permanent Founding badge when badges are available.

5. Referrals

• Every league has a referral code and link. Links shared from a league (including shared cards and pages carrying the league's code) count as referrals.
• First click wins: when someone opens a referral link, the code is remembered in their browser for up to 400 days and saved to their account when they sign in. A later link from another league does not replace it. A code typed in the “Referral code” box when creating a league takes priority.
• When the invited league first pays for 6 months or more, it receives 15 free days (6-monthly) or 30 free days (annual or a founding prepay of 12 months or more).
• The inviting league receives 15 or 30 free days according to its own plan length. If it is not yet on a 6-month or longer plan, its reward waits and is added when it subscribes for 6 months or more.
• A league can't refer itself or a league with the same owner. Each new league can be rewarded once. There is no limit on how many leagues you invite.
• Free days have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged. Rewards gained by fake leagues, fake payments or other abuse may be removed.
• We may change or end the referral programme for the future; rewards already added stay.

6. Payments and refunds

• Payments are final, except duplicate or incorrect charges, which are refunded.
• If the service is unavailable for more than 24 hours in a row, the plan is extended by twice the downtime.
• If the service is unusable for more than 7 days in a row, the unused part of the period is refunded on request.

7. Awards and badges

• Awards, records and badges are calculated automatically from recorded matches. They are for fun and have no cash value.
• Badges are earned only by registered players. Some badges (such as Passport stamps) need a paid league.
• If a result is corrected or found to be false, awards and badges that depended on it may change or be removed.

8. Acceptable use

• Don't upload offensive photos, names or sponsor content, or content you don't have the right to share.
• Don't record fake matches or results to gain badges or rewards, and don't try to access leagues or data you aren't authorised to see.
• We may remove content, reset badges or rewards, or suspend accounts or leagues that break these rules.

9. Availability and liability

• We aim to keep MyFutStats available at all times but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Remedies for outages are in section 6.
• MyFutStats is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, our total liability to a league is limited to the amount it paid us in the previous 12 months.

10. Changes and governing law

• We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be shown on the site before they apply.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
